Default Size Matters

A new owner here, so forgive these seemingly simple questions.

I know that the rear end body parts on the ZR-1 are bigger than the standard C4...to accommodate the wider tires.

1) are the doors a different size?
2) are the rear side light housings a different size?
3) are the brake and turn signal lenses a different size?
4) are the backup lenses and license plate assembly a different size?
5) is the rear end carpet and internal trim a different size?
6) is the "CORVETTE" script a different size?
7) within the ZR-1 line, 90-95, were there any parts that changed size/fitments from year to year? In other words will the early ZR-1 body parts fit the late model ZR-1's

Is there a list published anywhere that points out all of the differences between a ZR-1 and a standard C4...front to back? Obviously 75% or more of what's in the engine compartment is unique to the ZR-1. Other than the engine itself, what are some of the other items in the engine compartment that are ZR-1 specific?

Thanks,
Clint aka billybaloneey

For #6 and #7, the "CORVETTE" emblem is larger on the '91+ models (of which non-Z's didn't have an emblem anymore). The 1990 has the same sized emblem as all '84-90 'vettes.

You forgot to mention the "grin" is wider (on the ZR-1 drivers ).

I did not think the Brake and Turn Signal Lenses were a different size (#3)

I never measured them to compare, but couldn't help but notice the proportion appeared to remain the same, in spite of the wider tail. So, I wondered if the ZR-1 lenses were not a tad bigger. Someday, I'll have a ruler along and satisfy/confirm what I suspected for some time.

Guess I will look up the PN for any given year 91-95 and compare to the narrow body, but I am betting they are the same

Reverse light ARE different though

Brake and turn signal lens approximate measurements are the same on my 93 Ruby (LT1) and on my 92ZR-1 Tail light/brake lens are about 6 1/4" wide by 5" high on both cars. Reverse lights measure 3" wide and 6 1/2" on both cars. Rear side light/reverse lights are 1 7/8" high and 10" long on both cars.

As far as differences in body panels go (within the ZR-1 line), aside from the belt moulding, as someone mentioned, the front 1/4 side covers are different. The 90 stands alone. The 91-94 are another style & the 95 are also stand alone.

Yes, the door line is different in about the middle. You can see it starting to bow out.

No, they are the same.

No, they are the same.

License plate frame (black portion) is different. The back up lights are the same.

5) is the rear end carpet and internal trim a different size?
No, the inner tub is the same. So the carpet is the same.

6) is the "CORVETTE" script a different size?
90 is smaller than the 91-95 CORVETTE emblem. But in 90 they were the same size.

Yes, everything will bolt right up, or I should say bond right up in certain cases.
