Definitely going to replace the plugs and wires. I'm going to leave the coil packs alone. The car has operated flawlessly, with the exception of a secondary injector that died. The valley of the engine is remarkably clean. I'm trying to mess with as little as possible. You know what they say about if it ain't broke ...

Thanks for the offer Don. I already have a set on the way. I should have done my homework a little better and had them in hand before I tore everything apart. Next time I'll know.

Make sure you use a little dielectic grease on the plug ends on the coils as well as the spark plugs. Seen a few coil packs with corrosion on the coil towers.

Go ahead and tighten down the breather box bolts as well, or at least check them.

Great advice Jeff. I was going to advise him of the breather box bolts but you beat me to it.

KO consider it $155 of insurance. On a 91 the coils tend to be a little suspect after 17 years under the heat of a plenum. Pull em and keep em has a handy spare. One thing to rule out after all that work under the plenum. But hey your call.

Thanks to everyone's suggestions. Some I had already thought about, others I had not. I just hope the damn thing runs after I put it back together.
