Default Coolant Tube cracking

OK. Here's one of the coolant tbe with a fracture at the bolt boss. Fracture is thru material. Can I weld it back up?

Yea, you can weld it up and then grind it smooth again. Should not be to difficult.

Jeff,

What causes that? Was bolt just overtorqued? BTW, ordered bolts from McMaster.

After welding, you need to make sure its not warped on the mating gasket surface.

Man Dom somebody really overtourqued that coolant pipe IMHO
