Just FYI. Got rubber boot for alternator hot lead connector?
[IMG][/IMG]
This might not be news to some, but thought I would share just in case for anyone that might have the same problem I had. The rubber boot was hard and deteriorated on my Z and I had trouble trying to find a replacement. My local NAPA guy did not give up and found part number BT2 for about $3.00 and it comes with the boot, nut, bolt and red plastic piece (did not use) that is on the alternator. I thought this would be an easy to find item at the local parts store, but it was....at least here anyway. Not NCRS or anything like that, but it works perfectly and seals nicely to my rebuilt alternator. Aloha and I hope it helps someone else. |

Maybe I'm no NCRS judge....but that looks OEM to me! Seems to do the job & doesn't look like it was a spit & chewing gum job.

You folks are welcome and glad I it could even help one person. So many folks share information and not often that I can share anything.
