Ditto on watching those clamps. Several owners have complained of faint coolant smell in garage after clamps back off.

And at least one owner stomped gas pedal in second gear to promptly blow new upper SAMCO radiator hose clean off....

Same exact thing happened to me only with the original factory hose back in the 90's.

Also 20 years later when I had an unexplained overheating issue, it was traced to the one of those clamps being loose enough to bleed pressure causing temp rise when stopped.

So YES, be vigilant!
