Default WTB: Exhaust - Aftermarket or 93-95 stock

I've been hearing more and more clips of exhausts and want to open my '91 up more. Interested in what people may have laying around that they are looking to get rid of. As the title states, I'm open to either aftermarket or a '93-'95 ZR1 exhaust that I can add cut-outs to.

I'll be driving from Houston to Chicago in the middle of July and would love to find something along that route to pick-up and save on shipping. Planned route is Houston -> Little Rock -> St Louis -> Chicago.

Thanks!

Ryan

Hi Ryan--Since you are heading to Chicago this summer, you might give a shout out to Marc Haibeck (630-458-8427; mhaibeckz@gmail.com) or Pete Polisides (petezr1@gmail.com or here on the forum "Pete") to see if one of them has a takeoff 93-95 system. Sounds like you are thinking about possibly doing what I did on my '95. On both my '93 and '95 I mostly had Corsa exhausts, which I liked, but in my old age I got tired of the constant loudness on the '95. So I went back to my stock exhaust (I had headers and no cats after my Marc did his 510 Package) and had Marc add QTP electric cutouts right in front of the mufflers (to preserve the spare tire carrier). Also hid a rocker switch under the carpet on the passenger side of the console to control the cutouts. There are several pictures in my album section on the '95. I really liked the setup; quiet most of the time but able to be wide open when I wanted or just a third open for just enough sound around town. --Bob

Bob, your exhaust and the posts detailing it are one that I keep going back to month after month, and the main reason I?m entertaining a stock exhaust with cutouts. I reached out to Pete already and he doesn?t have anything on hand. I planned on reaching out to Marc next! There are a couple options that have popped up over on the FB page from my post there as well?decisions decisions 😆
