I replaced my front spring with a gently used FHA code spring. The RHY code spring in my car I believe to be original. The ride height balanced out perfectly.

The car was lowered when I got it. It was way too low. People back in the day would remove the two center rubber mounts (I think they are rubber) on the front spring. I couldn?t stand how low it sat. Looked cool, but made it tough to drive. So, I had Frank Para Chevrolet in Irving, Texas put a new front spring and different bolts on the back to raise it back up to factory specs. The code should be correct but I don?t remember the details.
