Default Removing mufflers

How difficult is it to remove the mufflers from the car? I have a 93 Z and I wanted to clean up the mufflers and tailpipes.

Roy,
Not a big deal at all. Take the flange bolts out at the cats, undo the hangers, pull forward a bit to get out of rear muffler hangers and then drag it all out the back. This will get the whole system out in one piece from the converters back.
I've had mine out several times to do cleaning and misc. checking around.
Of course, it is a bit easier if you have a lift.

Just buy a couple of flange studs and plan to replace one or two when you take the exhaust off. They tend to twist off when you turn the nut.

Yes, everything from the cats back.
Be sure and use anti-seize when putting everything back together!
