Default Service Parts Identification Sticker

My center console at some point was removed and replaced and the sticker is no longer present. I asked several outfits including corvette museum for replacements and unfortunately no one can reproduce them. Has anyone tried to reproduce them, size, font style? anyone have a template in word that I can use. I can recreate them but it will take a ton of time to match font style and spacing but I was wondering if anyone on here has had this issue and how did you go about replacing it?? thanks

You might also try posting this in the "NCRS for ZR-1s" section here as the folks active there probably see more things like this. Just a thought. -- Bob

Describe your Z in detail and ask a member to take a photo of their similar car. Cit it to size on similar paper and you?re done,

Good question. I'm in the same spot, and I'd love to be able to recreate one.

Good idea, but isn't the VIN on the label? If so, that wouldn't work.

I have images of ZR1 examples of the sticker, but I dont know the exact size lengthxwidth of the sticker. I am actually creating the exact font used and once I am done with that I will print it to exact scale (once I know the size) I have the build sheet for my Z and I will have to go through all of the RPO options for my car to create the custom list specifically for my car. Once I am dont I can recreate these for anyone else in the future.

As far as NCRS is concerned, I'd bet non-original
parts identification stickers are right up there
with re-stamped blocks?

Mystic ZR-1,
You are correct, re-stamped blocks and
non-original trim tags!

I would NOT recommend attempting to reproduce your SPID then enter your car for NCRS Judging. If the reproduced tag, (whether or not the content on it is accurate or not) is detected, it will result in the VIN being "branded" in the NCRS database. Just the way the NCRS rules are written.

There is a procedure for missing SPIDS on C4s and C5s presented for NCRS judging. It involves the C4 National Team Leader who is a member of ZR-1.net. He'll probably see this thread. You enter your car for judging. You order a build sheet from Betty at NCM and have the copy sent directly to the NTL. He will bring the sheet to the meet, verify the sheet is for the car presented, and you're set. If you already have a build sheet, you have to order another one and have it sent directly to the NTL. Betty is versed in what has to be done.

If you're going to NCRS with the car, don't mess with the SPID. On a C4, it is OK for it to be missing, IF the correct procedure is used. It is NOT OK to reproduce it, even if it is an accurate reproduction.

Dave P, I am not interested in showing the car with NCRS I am just anal about making sure the car is as original as possible. So I would like my Z to have that sticker. This is the only thing the car doesnt have to its original spec.

btw can anyone tell me if there are any other stickers under neath the console lid on 92's? I thought I may have seen a seat belt sticker but I am not sure.
