I haven't missed "Carlisle" in over 20 years, but I'm gonna pass on it this year.
With the Registry not having an Official presence (a good decision) including none of the the great barbeque provided by Charley, a requirement to wear masks and maintain social distancing in the usual Carlisle heat and humidity and of course and most importantly, the potential health concerns (this thing ain't over by a long shot...) have reluctantly led to my decision. I'll miss all the great friends and acquaintances I've made in the Registry and the Corvette community, but, with some luck, this will be over at some point and we can get back to normal or whatever's gonna pass for normal. All, stay safe and healthy and damn it, wash your hands... especially you Big John  Hope to see ya'll in BG in the Spring! |

Just a note on ?back to normal?. I called our local DMV office this week about some expiring vehicle registrations and he said our state has extended all vehicle related dates til September 30. So my question to him was that this is going to be over by that date. He matter of factly said ? No it will be over November 3rd?. Just sayin!!
