My cap does look exactly like the one in the pic. Looks like I will be putting a correct date coded fuel cap on my list of things to keep an eye out for. Thanks again, ![]()

Don't let the gas cap stop you as long as it looks correct, then it is a GM replacement part. Small deduct but nothing huge. Joel |

As mentioned above the date code alone shouldn't be more than a 1 point deduct.
