Dom, I would modify your statement to say that I personally am of the opinion that the ZR-1 has the last "pretty" engine. Ever since they have all been covered in plastic. Even my Z06 engine doesn't hold a candle to it.--Bob

Bob,

The pretty motor goes without saying. Imagine the automotive press if a motor like the REAL LT-5 was installed in your C7 Z06. Maybe we will see something like that w the C8.

Not a fan....to me it's like origami. Way to many folds and creases. Our C4s have smooth lines. I haven't been a fan of Corvettes since the last 1995 rolled off the line. Now it's like open the hood and admire my big plastic engine cover!! It seems like lazy design to me. I get it that Vettes now are technical wonders. I'm biased, I like how my '91 has no electronic nannies. A true drivers car.....
