Fuel Pressure Bleed Off Resolved
This issue may have been previously addressed, but I did not locate it in the archives so am posting it here for reference.
My '90 was not holding fuel pressure in the system after engine shut down. First thoughts were injectors, followed by fuel pump check valves and fuel pressure regulator. All these checked OK. I traced the leak to the plastic "Y" connector on the fuel pump/sending unit assembly. It is the connection from the two fuel pumps to the pressure outlet. Photo attached. It is the part in center of photo. The plastic "Y" had separated a bit on the bonded seam of the outlet that went to the secondary pump. I am assuming plastic submerged in gasoline will not last forever, you think? I did a repair to the seam, but am looking for a more permanent solution. Will advise when I come up with something. Hope this might be of help to someone experiencing the same issue.

Re: Fuel Pressure Bleed Off Resolved
I have a couple of take-out fuel pump systems. If you want an original Tee I will send it to you.

This would be a perfect place to install and aluminum replacement. I need to look into this.

#1- The configuration in these parts is actually a true "Y". The original is straight from outlet port to one of the fuel pump ports. The second pump port actually Y's into this straight run. #2- This is the BIGGIE in my opinion. The fuel outlet port is designed to be used with 3/8" hose. The fuel pumps are designed to be used with 5/16" hose. Therefore, you have 1 port on the "Y" fitting for 3/8" and 2 ports for 5/16". The pump outlets are plastic and do not have a good "barb" to grab the hose. I would be concerned that 3/8" hose could slip loose. Just hold on before you do anything. I am working with someone that everyone here will know to build some of these fittings. Most likely aluminum and they would be a direct replacement.

I was searching for longer fender well screws for splash guards and stumbled here. Is nylon fuel tolerant? Don't even know the size but this site has some potentially good things for other uses.

I'm not sure if nylon can live in gasoline or not. I have done a lot of looking, and the issue that I keep running into is that all the fittings readily available (or at least the ones I have found) only accomodate 1 size hose. ie: all 3 outlets are either 5/16" or 3/8". The original has 1 outlet @ 3/8" and 2 @ 5/16". Just this in itself creats correct fitment issues. Jim is sending me an unmolested original part and I'm getting w/Carter to duplicate them. It is his call on the material, but I'm thinking probably aluminum. As soon as I receive the original, I am meeting up w/Carter to get the ball rolling. With all this said, it should not be too long before an accurate part will be available to replace the old plastic originals. Will keep everybody posted.

Re: Fuel Pressure Bleed Off Resolved
There is a brass Tee on ebay that might fit the bill. It is 5/16 x 3/8 x 5/16. It is coming from China, so it won't be a quick delivery. But maybe we should stock up on a few of these, they are cheap enough at $3.29 ea.
