Video: belt tensioner and harmonic balancer
Guys,
Video is not great as its from my iPhone, but can you watch this video and let me know if the "wobble" noise off of the belt tensioner is Ok-acceptable? The car has 27k miles and a new serpentine belt. I also did my best to get some decent video of the harmonic balancer. Thought please. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZkfUXWzdLo

Can't make out the balancer, but that does not sound good. Sounds like the tensioner. Was the A/C on at the time? Need to rule out that, the alternator and PS pump. But does sound like the tensioner.
Always amazes me the issues low mile cars have. All that inactivity really is not good. Seals dry out and bearings seize. H

I just went thru this in April. Look to replace the pulley on the tensioner. And if the belt is old, replace it.
