Replacing clutch need some info.
I need to replace the clutch and have researched the solutions links. I plan to use the LUK 04113 kit. My questions are is this kit correct for a stock setup? The information I have found says it is however I would like the experts here to confirm. Does this kit work with the dual mass fly wheel? Will it any modifications as in different bolts to install?
Link to info: https://www.carid.com/luk/repset-clu...pn-04-113.html Any other information you may have would be helpful. Thanks.

Re: Replacing clutch need some info.
I'm not familiar with that particular clutch. But I do have one tip, and that is to make sure the clutch is for a 91' ZR-1 with the earlier gearbox (black label).
If you buy one for the later cars (blue label), you will find that the mainshaft cover will not slide into the throwout bearing. The later bearing, which comes with the clutch is smaller, and will not accept the earlier trans. See how that bearing slides on the trans shaft before you try to poke it into the car. |
