Finally a pic on the engine installed. It looks prototypish, I bet the production piece would have looked great, though the 1990-95 under hood view is a tough act to follow.
5.7 liters with a 7200rpm power peak. I'm glad that Graham got to finish off the GEN 3 LT5 prototype story. That must be quite satisfying. Esp. after starting the project and Chev not biting. Hopefully Graham has seen the engine installed.(that's the 1st pic Ive seen of the install) |

Now do what GM did to the 405HP 5.7L LS6 to create the 7.0L 505 HP LS7 and a 7.0L Gen III LT5 could have had 592 HP naturally aspirated. And if the GM forced induction had been used on a GEN III LT5, we might have had over 750 HP. Too bad.

There is one here in Chicago belonging to Bob Gill.
Runs high 10's @ 131-132mph. Consider the fact that we have 5.7L motors ported and w cams/exhaust surpassing the 7L LS-7 in hp by a good margin. Torque goes to the LS. |

Kevin Costello's 441 LT5 runs in the 10.4 second range in 50* air at the US 41 track. Dom knows that track quite well...one of his favorites!
