Over the years I tested about six different aftermarket exhausts and based on sound, lack of resonance and performance I went with Corsa for most of those years right up until I went back to the stock cat back exhaust with cutouts. On the 93 we had headers with cats mostly plus the Corsa, and on the 95 headers and no cats with Corsa and Stock. My conclusion is that with a high flow aftermarket exhaust system, the catalytic converters soften the sound and make it a more pleasant driving experience. I always said it seemed to be about a 20% improvement in the sound, whatever that means ![]()
