Default Carbon-fiber hood,and other ZR1 parts...soon!

P.S. i am working with Carbon-fiber HOOD project for ZR1, and Carbon-fiber upper plenum,Horn, and parts which goes to Filter.
front and rear Bumper (only 1990 Zr1) Carbon-fiber, we will produce them for guys who like to lower the weight and give better ET in drag racing,as well other kind of racing improvment.
the price will be lower than you can imagine. we want to market them, and give Zr1 the real performance.

i am already working on carbon-fiber hood with 2 custom duct (like Sledgehammer Callaway)for my 90 ZR1 Callaway Areobody.
any update with pictures,i will post it here. good luck to me!
Remember it will be Professional job. no jokes!!

Very interested.
Like to see the Intake stuff can you make the ports 36-38mm

Will they be able to make a stock looking hood, i like the sleeper look.

Let us know how it goes.

Pete

For an intake you can also use the same composite material that LS intakes are made of, its light, stays cool and is portable .Eliminate the cooling passages, it will be cheaper to make. I spent a lot of time lookig into this, came close to doing them about a year ago.
I have the material info floating around somewhere and some people who can do imaging if you need. Thats not expensive, its the mold that costs.

the 36 mm will be best i think !.
dont you think 38 mm will be so big??

the hood will be in any style you want.
mine will be with 2 open ducts in rear of hood.
i know some like sleeper...
one of my idea was to make this front single Duct, and change and hook new filter to the horn, for better ram effect. but i will not do that, cuz i have Callaway front bumper and it will looks bad to me!

this is about same as 06Z06 front duct idea !but with little bit different style.

IMO best to start with a ported intake/IH then do it up in the composite.
