The new style Ac Delco filters are not of the quality they used to be.

Delco PF-9 "Professional" for LT5 is $1.41
Delco PF970-C Professional for LT5 $3.78

Right now buy a fram oil filter and Air filter a get $4 off your bill.
Fram Air filter for LT5 is CA7007 and costs $18.52
ACDELCO A1097C "Professional" for LT5 $16.97

XG3985 for the top shelf Fram ULTRA synthetic filter costs $7.11.
Its about twice the weight of Frams regular "extra Guard" filters.

The Ultra has a much better construction of the filter media, has a silicon ADBV(antidrainback valve)-the black nitrile valves get hard and don't seal at all.
