Re: Sw headers
Yes and no....and yes.
I had to pass my emissions test so the whole shebang is stock at the moment- manifolds to muffler tips (I cut out the resonator tho). Before that I had my Watson headers (no longer made) running into LS7 cats (oem for a c6-Z06) and into an x-piped SW 3" system. Before before that I briefly ran no cats into my stock cat-back until I could get the parts together for the big loud 3" job. I didn't want to weld up my stock catback so I ordered the adapter kit to hook up the headers to get me on the road. I ran catless for a couple of months and I did not like it. The 3" pipes with cats was faster...mainly the muffler restriction I reckon. so yes, no, and yes on the stock catalysts. Last edited by mike100; 03-10-2015 at 11:41 PM. |
