tail light issues
hello all,
I have a 1991 Z. I have recently noticed that my rear tail lights are out and my reverse lights are out. However, my brake lights still work. There doesnt seem to be a fuse that correlates with this, and ive checked some of the bulbs and they appear to be ok. Thoughts on where I could localize this problem and how to fix?? Thanks in advance. |

Re: tail light issues
The tail lights are a fuse of their own and it's the first one 2nd row from top designated "TAIL". The back-up lamps I doubt are related and the back-up lamp switch detent ball is stuck or the switch is actually bad. There's of course no assurance that the "TAIL" fuse is the cause of the no tail lights but I'd think so. The back-up lamp switch would need checked.
The back-up lamps are fused with the turn indicators so if you've got turns I'd think switch for sure. The fuse is 3rd row far right designated "TURN/BU". |

Re: tail light issues
I do have turns. I will check the fuses and see if that solves the problem.
Thanks for the info! |
