I like that Carter cover. Nice addition.
Did you put sealant on the gasket ? Clean off all old gasket material ?
I would just bypass the coolant line.

clean off gasket material yes

I thought the gasket would be enough

I have that problem and I will do what FU says to bypass the coolant to the TB. I ordered a bypass pipe from Marc Haibeck and it can be done without removing the plenum. Marc indicates no issues down to 20 degrees and 98% humidity. The coolant leak causes the paint around the plate to deteriorate.

Default Throttle body coolant Blocking

See item #4 LT5 Eliminated Systems

On this LT5....For the purest I Eliminated TB Coolant by plugging the single port in each Injector Housing Only (as well as return line to Coolant Reservoir is blocked). That way you get the full advantage of Plenum Removal without having to mess with coolant in any way (On three other ZR-1s, TB Coolant is completely blocked with ALL associated lines removed)

You will see a spice in the line returning to the Coolant Reservoir which contains a plug so coolant cannot get into the TB from the Injector Housing but cannot get the the TB from the Coolant Reservoir either.
