Default You know what really sucks...

When you launch the car.. hit second and all you do is spin the tires.. Then the LT1 camaro next to you thinks he has the advantage because you you are just spinning you tires while the car gets a bit squirrelly..

still cool out today but man I missed driving my Z...

When you get to the storage facility and pull the cover off your Z. Open the hood and disconnect the battery tender. Check the oil and give everything a cursory once over, knowing nothing should be wrong because it has been okay since you put it away almost five months ago. Slide in behind the wheel, depress the clutch, turn the key and it fires over on the first try. The idle settles down, place the cover in the storage compartment, close the hood and dust the car off, not because it's dusty, but you have nothing else to do until the car gets up to temperature. Check the tire pressure, lights, and put away the tender. Thank your fellow club member for storing the car over the winter and begin your twenty mile journey home. Two miles of county roads then enter the freeway. Sixteen miles of freeway, radio off, everything sounds fine, car feels good. Check power key, and yes, all systems GO! Off the freeway, two miles to the house and there's an open space in YOUR garage. Pull in with ease and the Z is home for the season and all is well. The Z06 seems to say, "Welcome home my friend" and the ZR-1 nods, it's nice to be back.

Okay it was 66 degrees here today and I couldn't resist. I am ready for the summer. My car is out of storage and I will see you brothers in Bowling Green!

Have you taken your Z to the track since you have had it? Plan on more trips this year?

last time I was at the track in a corvette was 2006.. (Drag racing)

As for trips, I don't have any planned. I am hoping to be at Haibecks next Sunday for a little while

I just re-instated my insurance so the ZR will be on the road tomorrow. I'm itching to see what changing the Injector Offsets has done to the BLMs. Also trying out the Z06 rear brakes. I may pull radiator for cleaning and/or replace w Fluidyne rad. Not sure just yet. Have gotten conflicting advice.
See you at BG Joe.

Well, during the Gathering, what really sucked was leading a road tour and having my car stall half way during the drive. Seems I have some fuel delivery problem. Either filters, pumps or what have you.

I made it home from the Gathering, but this is the priority item to address. I will get it worked out shortly.

Joe,

We can arrange for a Windy City intervention for your car.

Thanks Dom, I spoke with Mark during the Gathering and we are working on the problem. I might be over for some pizza soon!
