Default Hood Prop Strut

Some good news for those of us with the style hood strut that has the orange piece in the middle....the one that Corvette Mods sells is that style. It looks like the one everyone else lists is the later style that's all black like my '96 has.

It was backordered for about a month and finally arrived today. They were very nice about answering my questions and said they weren't sure which style it would be...just that the last ones had the orange piece, but that they weren't sure which style the supplier would send.

So, for those that want a correct style for their '90/91 or other years with that style strut, they're the ones to get it from. I don't have any connection to them other than being a customer.

I'm not sure it would pass NCRS, since the orange piece is slightly different as is the printing on it, but it looks pretty close to my original and better than replacing with the incorrect style.

Proper respect or proper recognition. It was probably hip to say about 15 years ago.

Prop= a device used to support another item.

Example: "Prop open your hood"
