Default Kim Baker BR-1

Does anyone know if Kim Bakers BR-1 had an LT-5 or was it an OHV engine? This was the Silver State/Pony Express car....

I have chatted with Kim on Line a few times, but hate to keep asking questions....I asked him if he had a 750hp ZR-1 365 that he ran at Silver State(It was listed as a 365ci ZR-1 in a mag)....he responded back..."That one is sold and it had a different intake"

Which to me says it was an LT-5....but you never know.

They had built a solid lifter cam LT-5 for Kim at Mercury but it blew up on the dyno make an 8K RPM run

Lee,

I think I remember seeing this car in a Vette Vues article back in the day. Key word is "Think" but the bodywork, color, and wing look like the car I remember seeing. Hope this helps some.

Not an LT5 - Big block around 540 CID, IIRC

Actually saw it at his shop before it was sold.
