That would be hard to promise with the plenum having to sit on its back to port.......

I taped one up once in an effort to preserve the factory finish... worked pretty well... well until I cleaned the plenum with a parts washer... oops, so much for that.

I don't recall having any problems with wall thickness, think they are pretty much the same as the early castings. The challenge with the late model design is working around the injector bosses without taking too much off them and screwing up your o-ring seal. I like to use some smaller bits and create channels on either side of the bosses - that and I go a little extra wide right around the boss area too.
