No doubt...it's why I removed my Forced Air system, since I didn't want to continually be pulled over for no front plate.

BTW Bob, I like the letters on the plate cover painted black...looks good.

I like the painted letters also. May have to track one of those covers down. Minnesota requires both plates as well but you sure see a ton of Vettes and other makes running around without one.

Yeah, I think I'll keep the black. I like it a lot. I'll just have to figure out the best way to paint it permanently. I'm thinking I could paint it like I did with this temporary stuff, and then wipe the face off with some mineral spirits leaving only the paint in the lettering.

This didn't work as well as I'd hoped. It's painted though and looks good from >2 feet away. I'll redo it at some point. It's laquer-based touchup paint so it shouldn't be too hard to remove the black with laquer thinner while leaving the catalyzed red paint in place.
