Default Carlisle Info GM is loaning us 6 Rarely seen Z's

hey guys, *Posted on CF too*

I'm helping Uly out with Managing our ZR1 event this year @ the Corvette's at Carlisle. I have gotten GM to commit to sending 6 Rarely ever seen ZR1's to Carlisle this year and @ least 5 vendors to give Substantial gifts for our ZR1 group that brings their ZR1 to the Show.

Here is a list of cars (details of each car are forthcoming)

Corvette 40th Anniversary ZR-1 1993 (Maroon)
Corvette Convertible 1991 (Gray)
Corvette DR-1 Convertible 1989 (Light Blue)
Corvette ZR-1 1989 (Red)
Corvette ZR-1 Active 1990 (Black)
Corvette ZR-12 Falconer Engine (Red)

Rooms booked are @ the Day's Inn @ $99 per night (king or 2 double beds)
Say you are with the group "Corvette ZR1" and give them the dates, then you get the special Rate.

Hotel is VERY clean (I inspected 6 rooms to check it out)
Go ahead and try to get a better rate, because I did... Standard rate is $120 plus with their best discount.
Rooms are blocked from 8/23 Thursday thru Monday 8/27
THERE IS NIGHT SECURITY, so don't worry about bringing your baby!

Hotel info:

Days Inn Harrisburg (aprox 14 miles from the show right off I-81)
3919 North Front Street (Exit 66 off I-81)
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17110
Telephone: (717) 233-3100

If anyone has questions or needs anything special please let me know

Thanks!

Amazing how much they extended the frame and bodywork on the Falconer.

91 and up front bumper, but molding is black? I see what you mean looking at the rub strip length from the front wheel to the door.

GM painted the rub strip black on the car. It is a 91 style body.

I thought the "Falconer" had 60's style sidepipes direct off the headers? Wish I could make to Carlisle....would love to hear that V-12 come to life! Maybe someone could do a video of those Z's and share it.

same reason the front end is so low...the General felt like it at the time. doesn't have to make sense . maybe they were going to put those on Z-25 optioned ZR-1's but changed their minds at the last minute?
