The 89 electrical wiring manual includes the ZR 1 wiring diagram. I would use that as your source. Also note that the primary fuel pump is controlled by the oil pressure sensor. No oil pressure no pump. I just wired mine direct. The 89 ecm does not have a control output to accomplish this. As long as you use an 89 dis module the wiring will be correct. Tyler |

Photos for those with an interest. Two Z engine harness side by side, an early and a late ’89. The mounting on the firewall differs. Other photo is of the firewall on an ‘89 L98 for comparison. George
