Default Experimental Bling

Billet Aluminum Ultra Light Belt Tensioner Pulley

Just experimenting with a Billet Aluminum High Speed bearing Belt Tensioner Pulley. You get a nice new Pulley Bearing and Pulley diameter is only 3/16 inch larger than stock otherwise Pulley dimensions are identical to stock. The larger diameter will move the belt tensioner counterclockwise at the bearing center only 3/32 inch more which is insignificant

To be installed and tested within a few days after I get Plenum back on my 90' (with some modifications to IH and Plenum of course )

See item #9c of Bling (Carter and Others)

Looks very nice, you'll have to post pics of it installed. Did you port them or something else?

I have to instsall a new water pump and some other stuff so will be a week or so before I fire it up with the new Belt Tensioner Pulley. I will take a picture and tell you how it works out

In the mean time

Brass Colored Alternator Pulley
Ebay Brass Colored Alternator Pulley

Delco CS130D Alternators 6 Groove Pulley 10476225
This pulley is identical in Outside diameter and Shaft Diameter of original Alternator Pulley. I very thin washer (3/64 inch thick) was used between the pulley and the cooling fins of alternator for exact Pulley spacing.

Alternator, Spacer, Pulley, Washer, Nut,
5/16 inch Allen, 15/16 inch Box Wrench.......................Modifications to 15/16 inch Box Wrench

All Up and RUNNING

Ebay Billet Aluminum Belt Tensioner Pulley
Ebay Brass Colored Alternator Pulley

All Pulleys are super quiet and run sooooooo smooth at all RPMs.

Summary of 90' Reconditioning/Modifications

You will notice this photo taken with engine running is not blury at all indicating absolutely NO VIBRATION
Of either the Alternator Pulley or Belt Tensioner Pulley.
See item #9c of Bling (Carter and Others)
