I'm once again fixing my red Beast.
The clutch master started leaking. I am going to replace both the master and slave. My question regards the slave. I have read about lots of them having the seal installed backwards. Is this still a problem? I'm not afraid of taking this one apart but would rather not do it if it's not necessary. It is a genuine GM part #12509313 that I just purchased today. As always... Thanks Jeff, I'll give him a call tomorrow.
Did you check out the photos of the charcoal? I replaced the canister and blew out the purge line and replaced the purge valve. With two new coils and a set of wires the engine is running very well. Smooth as a... well you know. Now I just need to get these cylinders installed. ![]() Jim |
