Flushing power steering fluid
What's the best method? I just got my Z last year from the original owner, and just about all of the other maintenance issues are finished. I'd like to change/flush the PS, what's the best way to do it?

Re: Flushing power steering fluid
Well...it is a pretty messy job if you want to get ALL of it out...you need to disconnect a hose underneath and drain it out...even then there will still be some in the system. I would recommend using a turkey baster to suck out as much as you can and refill it....much less mess but not a 100% fluid change either.

Re: Flushing power steering fluid
Get an old syringe and suck out the reservoir, refill it with RedLine Power Steering Fluid, drive it for a few hours. Repeat this 3-4 times. After the 4th time, you should have fairly clean PS fluid.
