GM Archives Division
I know that ghlkal saw this on CF, but did anyone else?
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-g...vin-cards.html Post says that they will provide a reproduction window sticker, VIN cards and whatever other documentation that they have on that VIN. Could it be possible that through an oversight, they may have "those documents whose name shall never be mentioned"? Thoughts? Jep |

Re: GM Archives Division
gm doesn't have the dyno sheets anymore, the NCM does.

Re: GM Archives Division
NCM if will sell you your window sticker and your build sheet. I've inquired about getting the dyno sheet from them for my LT5 and they do not do that. Some sort of legal barrier with GM for some reason. They have one for each LT5 made I'm told and have the records from, presumably, Stillwater where I presume they did the dyno on the engine before calling it complete. I'd love to see mine. The price for the build and window sticker is available on the NCM site though it is not cheap. I got them, spent ten minutes and they are scanned and in the big sturdy envelope they came in tucked into the Heart of The Beast.
Here's my window sticker..or part of it and the first page of the build sheet. Second is just words. Looks very authentic.zr1 build sheet page 1.jpg post 1991 zr1 window sticker top 80% scan.jpg post zr1 window sticker bottom 80%.jpg

Re: GM Archives Division
I should have said that by "them" I don't mean the NCM, but ...
"If anyone else needs or wants to contact GM for a window sticker/invoice and vin card duplicates the Archives number in Lavonia Michigan is 734-462-5543 x 163." (from CF thread) |
