Does anyone have any info on digital odometer area number fade?
My 90 center odometer numbers show full then partial yet clear (like a digital watch) any thoughts!! |

There are two dash clusters on eBay right now, saw them last night; Item #:190084843365, and Item #:170082949002 I can't imagine it being anything other than the LCD going bad. The numbers are correct and it works right? It's just a little "See Through". TomC '90ZR1 #792 |

More than likely the dash is on it's way out as TomC said. LCDs do fade in cold temps though too - probably not an issue in Florida unless you have your aircon on way too high

Dave, I think I remember over at our mother ship in the how to section??? That there was a link to a series of how to tips, the link was at the bottom of our how to list...I believe the link was to a page over at CF.
Might give that a try because I am fairly sure that there was a write up on fading numbers. Had something to do with the contact pins on the cluster??? Geeeze I wish I could remember exactly....maybe worth checking out. ![]() Tom
