It occurs to me that Bill B might be interested as well...Justa thought. Oh, count me in for at least a 5th gear syncro!

1-2 same
3-4-5-6 same

All you really need to make is 2 different syncros

sorry to be so far behind the curve on this.....but I'd be "IN" also so that we could get a large enough order together to get this done the first time.

I have a few questions though first.

If we do this are we invading anyone's patents?

Would the blueprints belong to you Lee? I mean someone has to be paid to reverse engineer this stuff to come up with machining specs, right? IDK if the prints are yours, just as long as we don't have to beg someone else for permission to reproduce the parts.

My ignorance shows here for sure: In a Muncie box a set of synchros was two, 1st - 2nd and 3rd - 4th. Rev had no synchro. The blocker rings came with the synchro assemble or could be bought as a discrete part. I know I should look in my FSM, but every time I do I get a head ache looking at the exploded view of a zf6. Way too many parts vs my old M22. So, do we get a full menu or is it going to be as an assembly only? Sorry for my ignorance, but there were very few ways to detonate a Muncie gear box if you kept fluid in it and knew how to use a clutch.

What about the rest of the small parts like needles and even the big parts like center bearings and front bearings do we need to think about that stuff? I see you already have forks on the list.

Okay, my ignorance of a zf6 is showing because the only box I ever rebuilt was my M22 in my LT-1. That was simple vs the zf6!
