Where did you get those figures? Track should be the same - all years. The early cars did have higher spring rates which may make them handle a little better.

I just heard from the owner of my old 90 DRM black/red car.

it got me started on the whole ZR-1 gig. everyone thought I was crazy buying a zr-1 with 62k miles. car was 23,500 with the mods way back in 1999 before the price drops and put 372 ponies to the ground.

with the short shifter, lowered, better brakes, 4.10 gears it was "more than I had seen"

brings back memories. the first few 7200 rpm shifts changed my life forever.

long live the zr-1. it's a "formitable" ride!!
