No, I mean if you straighten it upright how do you know it's still broken?
Seems like all is well now. Your text leads one to believe the fix will not work.

Hi All,

I bought a working used Accelerometer that matched the numbers from the failed unit in the car. Based on the tips from all of you I thought the used replacement would work. It did !!!!! I installed the new switch, erased the codes, took it for a test drive (at 3 mph the ABS motor cycled). Got no trouble code light. Check the ABS system by grounding pin 11 and I got 12, 12, 12. I believe I am good to go at this time.

I opened up the failed accelerometer and the weight moves but is binding up and not moving freely. I will play around with the unit and see if I can free it up.

Thanks for all the help.

Have a great summer

Cheers

Don

I'd be curious to see any pics of the failed unit.
Where it's binding etc.

Hi Scott,

I will take a couple of pix of the accelerometer and post them for you and others to see what the unit looks like with the cover off.

Thanks,

Don
