Seems like all is well now. Your text leads one to believe the fix will not work.

Re: ABS code 76 set
Hi All,
I bought a working used Accelerometer that matched the numbers from the failed unit in the car. Based on the tips from all of you I thought the used replacement would work. It did !!!!! I installed the new switch, erased the codes, took it for a test drive (at 3 mph the ABS motor cycled). Got no trouble code light. Check the ABS system by grounding pin 11 and I got 12, 12, 12. I believe I am good to go at this time. I opened up the failed accelerometer and the weight moves but is binding up and not moving freely. I will play around with the unit and see if I can free it up. Thanks for all the help. Have a great summer Cheers Don |

Hi Scott,
I will take a couple of pix of the accelerometer and post them for you and others to see what the unit looks like with the cover off. Thanks, Don |
