That car is perfect in every way. If I owned a no mile car like that Id never drive it. It would be vacumm packed and stored in a climate controlled facility. Driving it would be stupid. Youd hurt the value of the car with every mile you put on it. Thats why you need two of them. One to store away as an investment. And one that you can drive and enjoy.

Letting a car sit and dry rot is a very poor investment.
A new car that just sits and is never driven for tweny years can cost $20,000.00+ to get it operating like new again.
This is why you will see the same low mile cars go from auction to auction.

If you buy a car for investment purposes with 200 miles on it with all the factory wrapping that doesn't mean you just park it. A car has to be prepped for long term storage. I once read an article about a 1970 yellow BOSS 302 that had 5 miles on it. And the owner decided to store it. He took the tires off. Had a special frame stand that supported the entire car evenly. And spray the entire undercarriage and suspension with koslene to shield it from any moister. The car was so pristine that the concours judges used it as the standard to judge all 1970 BOSS 302's with. All the factory markings and paint stick info was perfect. A time machine. It's not for everybody. But if it's prepped right and warmed up on a regular basis it should be fine.

I'd buy it and drive it...they can always be restored. Our only issue with restoring our cars will be the windshield. Everything else is available and will be.

Restoring a car from the ground up is a huge undertaking and very expensive. Just ask Brett who does it for a living. The 50's and 60's cars are very simple compared to a ZR-1 with all of the electronics and wiring. If I were ever to decide that I wanted to buy say Jerry's 168 mile car I'd do the same thing he did. Just hold on to it for another 20 years and watch it appreciate $$$ while I drive my other Z and enjoy it. See that way no one can really say that it's a shame not to enjoy that car because really I am. Just not the 168 mile one. Wouldn't bother me one bit.
