It's a C4 convertible with C5 wheels, ZR1 badges and heavily modified motor. I'm sure if the owner could pull it off he would get the real thing. He's probably very happy with it and that's what counts.

Well...in this day and age of LOW ZR-1 prices....I'm sure he could be there just by selling his VERT to the right buyer!

If i remember right.....he told me he wrote a check for 50k and it was his! Not too bad for a clean body kit car w/415, big cams,big port work that was originally done for John Lingenfelters best friend that owns Star Racing....so you know everything was done to the max at the time.

Here's a funny one for ya! My old 90Zr1(rip) racing my buddys modded Cobra from a second gear roll.....my car has/had ported IH's,Plenum,63mm TB,headers and DRM chip, i think i would have done a lot better if i would of had some gears.

The first two races i got him by maybe a fender...but somehow those were erased...lol...phuckin Cobra owners...anyway!

This is from 02 or 03 summer not sure...but it's a short vid.
