Looks like the application is for high HP cars.....Mcleod uses a similiar version

Centerforce made one that had a regular surface on one side and the pucks like that on the other. I think the pressure plate side had the full surface. I think they referred to it as their stage 3.

This is a "binary" clutch. On or Off. No in between.
