Default My little piece of Corvette history,ITS HUGE!Check it out.

Ive got a story for the Brotherhood.About a month ago I was having a hard time getting my bone stock 18,000 mile 91 Z smogged.I got in touch with the Sema Action Network,SAN to find out what kind of options I had if I couldnt get the car to pass.About a week later I get an email from a guy by the name of Jim Mcfarland.I start to correspond with Mr.Mcfarland and he makes a comment about my email address which is ARDUNFAN@***** telling me he personally new Zora Duntov and also he knew one of the principle engineers that helped develop the LT5.Right about now Im think this guy is full of it but kept the emails flowing. He then tells me that he conducted the very last published interview Duntov did before he passed away and proceeds to send me the interview. When I open the email and see JIM McFARLAND at the top of the page my head just about exploded, that Jim McFarland,Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn.Anybody that has read HotRod,Carcraft in the last 40 years has read something written by Jim McFarland.I can honestly say Ive known that name for most of my life.Ive included in the pictures a copy that Duntov gave to Jim that is probably the most important single document ever writtin pertaining to the Corvette.Jim was nice enough to sign a copy and send it to me.[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
