Been sitting and not started since 2005? I see a lot of work to do. Still, a good price!

There was a recent post on the other forum where a prospective buyer was looking for a passenger side cam cover as it was for some reason missing from the car for several years. He later posted that the original owner found the cam cover but had no recall as to why it was removed due to alzheimer's disease. Possibly just for refinishing as it appeared to have been polished. Roy Carman offered to take a good look at the car for the guy and the thread has since been inactive. Hopefully nothing serious was wrong with the car and someone got a hell of a deal.

Hell of a deal especially if you have a spare head.

Car is now posted for sale on the other forum for 15K. Seller is stating he just got the car on trade with a missing injector and cracked cam cover.

Doesn't he know cars loose value as soon as you drive them off the lot.

Can you fix a cracked cam cover? You can't just use another one can you? That car likely needs another head now doesn't it?

Yes,you can use another cam cover but you have to check visually to make sure the journals are very close,if so my mechinest has the boring tool to do it.
Either way motor/head has to come off to do this.
