Default GM AC Blower Power Module Connector

The connector for my power module is totally gone and the wiring was dangerously exposed. Spades were pretty oxidized. I have been looking for the pigtail to this for a while. There are 2 connectors on the evaporator box for the power control module. One is a 2 cavity, and the other a 4 cavity w PRPL, BLK, and ORG wires. Both are female connectors. Looking at the FSM I find the GM # to be
12052023 for the 4 cavity and 12052024 for the 2 cavity. I'm looking for the 4 cavity pigtail Looking on the net, the closest I can find to this is a
12101931 and a 12101886. Both of these are 4 cavity. The 886 has 3 wires rather than 4. Does anybody know if the FSM # was superceded by either of these 2. They both seem to have the correct shape etc. Anybody have a source?

Dom these are the same as any C4. I suggest Pming WEBURKE over at the Corvette Forum. Decent guy. Tell him I sent you and if he has them they will be priced right. LMK either way. Daryll

I'm not familiar with your car. What year?

12101931 is 4 wire and is NLA - BUT the ACD PT203 equivalent is used as a reference by most all connector vendors and it's out there all over the place.

On my '90 MY the connectors are 2 and 4 but only 3 are populated on the 4 and only 1 is populated on the 2. There's a cavity plug in the unused ones. You could use the PT203 and either transfer your cavity plug if there's one or buy a new cavity plug.

For the '90MY the 12101886 (PT157) I believe would be correct. It's 3 wire and I believe the correct cavity is plugged. I'm not a hands on for the later '93+ MY but I would think it maybe the same. The 12101886 is still available from GM or ACD but expensive! CORRECTION! Maybe not so expensive!

Where's home? How close is Naperville?

An empty body could be available also. You just assemble it! Interested?

WV,

Thanks for the great response. I spotted those 2 connectors. My Z is a 92. The 2 cavity has 1 empty cavity, while the 4 cavity had only 3 wires, BLK/ORG/PRPL. So sounds like the 90. I think it's a matter of color, which is black not gray. I need the pigtail. There is no connector currently. I could build it with the right terminals but pigtail is easier.
The ZR is a 92 Black Rose that I bought in December.
I'm in Bartlett which is 12miles north of Naperville and about 4 miles NE of St. Charles ( very close to Bloomington Gold)

PT157 - Factory Motor Parts - Naperville, Joliet, McCook OR
Precision Service and Parts - Wheeling

A reasonable buy would be something less than $30
