Well, he never gave out any empirical data, but just mentions that the Corsa makes 'better power'. This is kind of the same conclusion I had when I discovered the smaller pipe gave better and more consistent 0-60 acceleration.
I can't comment on the B&B resonator restriction because I had the x-pipe the 3" B&B w/ X-pipe most definitely supports more HP than a 2.5" Corsa, but it is really a tad overkill because it hurts the mid-range punch a little on fairly stock engines. Could be worth 8 to 10 hp on a 400-420 hp LT5. My conclusion after sampling both exhausts is that B&B is made well, but Corsa is well engineered. |
