Yes the Ferrari belts are to be changed out after 30,000miles or five years. The last set of belts I have seen that came out of an early 90's Testarossa looked brand new. They had 7,000miles on them, and were changed in 2010.
The 1 possible issue I see with chains is the chain guides, but their durability seems quite good according to guys here. I have seen some chain drives that use a sprocket instead of of a friction surface. ANother erason to use good oil and change it regularly.

These engines made similar power to the LT5 380-390hp depending on where the car was to be shipped(different calibration/exhaust).

Cam blanks are readily available for these Ferrari 12's at $100 a piece.

Double the price pf the ZR-1, and they run low 14's in the 1/4, with 0.87g of lateral grip.

I'll take the ZR-1, please.
