Thanks! Oval pipes would help. Only real problem area (for 3" tubing at least) is the rear diff. There's plenty of room to tuck the system up tight the rest of the way but, without adding some extra bends to the system, it ends up a little lower to clear (I slightly angled the rear pipes downward after the x-pipe to keep the belly as high as possible, but 'ovaling' the pipes under the diff might have made this unnecessary).
Also changed the engine and trans oil, and bled the brakes and clutch this weekend. Just about ready for some racing. Drag racing and autocross next weekend, then a drivers education event at Talledega in April. ![]() |

Here's a quick video if anyone wants to see what it sounds like:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFd2FiMmcAM Don't know why it looks like it's burning oil in the video, it's really just a little bit of black smoke from a slightly rich mixture. After watching it I had to run out and have my girlfriend rev it for me so I could check though ![]() |

I appreciate the compliments! It was a fun project, and I love the outcome. Want to get it on the dyno and see what the rwhp looks like now (was ~380 before).

Wow, Nice TR6!!!!! Yours is a LITTLE shinier than mine...
Not very good shots, but all I have online right now. Fun little car, drives great and has been very reliable. I'm actually trying to sell it though...just too many toys right now and I seldom drive it these days ![]() |
