Pete

Seats weigh 23.1 lbs each. They are 95 base seats with no tracks

Do the seats you weighed have any electronics in them?

I will have to take one of my 1991 seats out weigh them, seem to be about the same weight, just can't remember what they weigh.

Looks really good. I have no ability to work with stuff like that at all.

Everyone I know who has used that stuff on their dash has had issues with it.

It could have been application method, material, etc., they all just seem to look bad in a short period of time.

I have a local guy that does all my cf panels for me (the hood, doors, bumper, targa top, hatch, fenders on my supra were all done by him) that I can pass you onto. I am thinking about having him do my gto fenders, inner fenders, hood, door skins, trunk lid, and endura front end in cf to save a bit of weight off this pig. I do not like the way bare cf looks, so I paint it all and nobody would know the difference anyway.

It will be interesting to see how these overlayment it holds up over time.

im sure he could, but he is not cheap. I will call him tomorrow and get a price. He may need an original though. He always takes my cars when he fabs the panels, but the fit is impeccable.

What do you think?
What's not perfect about it?
What are you trying to make it better?
Looks good in the picture.
I'm thinking about using this for my console

my main issue was the corners around the top. There are streaks in it, the second panel I started with the top and worked my way down.. much better.

I still have a couple issues where I pressed a bit hard with heat and bunched/damaged the vinyl. they are fingernail sized but still there

I am happy with these, however, I probably should have done some smaller items first to get a better feel for applying the vinyl. I have enough to do my console and radio bezel, although being a 1990 and those pieces being gray metallic not sure how the black CF look will 'look' in the car. I will use a non ZR-1 radio bezel to try and just drill a hole for the key.
