Default Preferred Exhaust system

I just purchased a 94 zr1 with stock exhaust system. Any suggestions for a quality system that has a nice sound with quiet at idle feature, and no back pressure noise.

I had 2 previous zr1 s in the 90's, and Borla indy's were the rage.

That is what was said by Corsa when I got it. It was supposed to be the new exhaust for the 93 and up Z's. I never measured it myself

Oh, I believe that's 2 1/2". I wondered if maybe you pieced something together from one of their kits with 2 3/4" stuff.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I think you will find that the term "quiet" is subjective. Most people have either the B&B or Corsa, neither of which are tame. If you have cats, and use a resonator, either are pretty good, but still not lame. Go with no cats and an X-pipe and you may go deaf, but will achieve fame.

My attempt at automotive poetry.
