Dyno Tuning
Its been a while since I have had the car to the dyno for some tuning and there have been some small modifications made to it. In preparation for the Corvette Challenge next week at Rt.41 I decided to take the car to Speed Inc. for some tuning. Lgaff was going to join me but couldn't make it. Spent a couple of hours with Larry (thanks), and ran the car 6 times including a baseline run.
Here is a graph of the before and after with the top line being FINAL run and calibration with bottom being the baseline for HP/TQ/AFR. I cleaned up the AFR quite a bit especially at the bottom end. Also made some timing mods. The combinaton of the changes resulted in a 11rwhp/13crank, 10rwtq/12cranki increase. Looks like torque peak is at about 5300rpm, with HP peaking at about 6700 but remaining relatively flat to 7200rpm. I was pleased and felt it was certainly worth the money. Also found out that my shift light was inaccurate and causing me to shift too early. That would explain the lower trap speeds since installing it. Curses =Jeff= for selling it to me.
