TPMS sensor compatability - ZR-1 Net Registry Forums

Does anyone know if there are any modern tire pressure sensors, the ones that mount to the stem inside the wheel, that are compatable with the early systems we have in our cars?

To my knowledge there are currently 3 or 4 different oem suppliers that provide systems. Seems that would be preferable to the clunky sensors that many of us have removed because we don't trust them to come apart at speed. It would still be nice to have that system working.
